The Data Scientist will use product and user data, experimentation, causal inference, and statistical modeling to guide product, strategy, and operational decisions. Responsibilities

  • Analyze product and user data to derive actionable insights and identify opportunities to improve products, strategy, and operations.
  • Apply causal inference methods, including controlled experiments and synthetic controls, and analyze results.
  • Investigate anomalies and conduct root-cause analyses.
  • Define core metrics, build measurement frameworks, and maintain reporting.
  • Build statistical models, optimization frameworks, and simulations to automate decision-making and operational processes.
  • Present technical analyses and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish data practices and help scale analytics infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • Deep expertise with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, statistical modeling, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Strong written communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI/ML products, large language models, or developer tools is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Compensation and Benefits
