Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve the reliability and scalability of experimentation.
- Provide statistical expertise on methodologies, frameworks, causal inference, and experimental design.
- Educate and train cross-functional teams on experimentation design, statistical methods, and causal inference.
- Develop workshops, training sessions, and educational materials that explain complex statistical concepts.
- Empower the Data Science team to use rigorous causal inference methods.
- Conduct causal inference research on important company priorities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Political Science, or Psychology.
- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments or causal inference projects.
- Experience designing and validating statistical methodologies for experimentation platforms or similar systems.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend statistical approaches that improve experimentation frameworks.
- Strong communication and education skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs or educational content related to experimentation, causal inference, or statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, R, and other statistical programming languages.
Nice-to-haves
- PhD in a quantitative field.
- Experience conducting literature reviews and applying scientific best practices.
- Track record of using causal inference methods to influence business decisions and outcomes.
- Interest in Discord or gaming.
- Causal inference-related publications.
Compensation and Benefits
- US base salary range: $220,500–$245,000, plus equity and benefits.
