AI Ops Engineer

Build AI-powered People systems, integrations, datasets, predictive models, and decision-support tools for sensitive employee data. The role partners closely with stakeholders and owns products from discovery through production, using strong security and product-engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Partner with the People team to identify, scope, and ship AI-powered internal products.
Build integrations with HR systems, ATS platforms, and identity providers, including HiBob, Ashby, and Okta.
Design secure systems with role-based permissions and access controls.
Develop predictive and diagnostic models for workforce trends, hiring capacity, retention risks, and compensation dynamics.
Create canonical datasets and source-of-truth models for hiring, headcount, compensation, organizational design, and workforce planning.
Establish data governance through source-of-truth logic, naming conventions, and ownership.
Own products end-to-end, from research and design through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
Translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
Build systems that meet legal and compliance requirements for sensitive employee data.
Collaborate with other AI Ops Engineers to share building blocks, patterns, and learnings.
Build AI agents, workflows, dashboards, and decision-support tools.

Requirements

Experience shipping production software that handles sensitive data, such as HR technology, fintech, or identity management systems.
Experience with people data, business systems, analytics platforms, or enterprise data infrastructure.
Deep familiarity with HR systems and/or ATS platforms, such as HiBob, Ashby, Workday, or Greenhouse.
Experience designing secure systems with role-based access control and data permissioning.
Strong product instincts and end-to-end ownership.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
Experience building products from scratch and taking them into production.
