Tax Analyst
Prepares and analyzes global indirect tax filings, payments, audits, and reporting while supporting Finance and Accounting teams. Requires a relevant university degree, approximately two years of tax experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with financial systems.

Responsibilities
- Prepare indirect tax returns and ensure timely, accurate filing.
- Calculate indirect taxes and ensure timely payments.
- Analyze data and transactions for correct reporting.
- Gather and analyze data for indirect tax and internal audits.
- Monitor indirect tax rules and regulations globally.
- Coordinate with and support Finance and Accounting teams on indirect tax processes.
- Assist with new tax registrations.
- Work with external service providers and foreign tax authorities.
- Participate in process improvement projects.
- Assist with other tax compliance areas, including digital services tax.
- Support other projects as required.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field, such as law, accounting, or a related discipline; CPA qualification is also relevant.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant tax experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Experience with financial systems, including ERPs, consolidation tools, and management reporting tools.
- Strong Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to prepare robust models.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, informal, and ambiguous environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with global indirect tax compliance.
- Additional language skills.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Interest in process improvement and learning new software platforms.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid role based in Stockholm, Sweden, with at least three office days per week.
