Key Responsibilities
- Drive AI-First Automation: Build AI-driven workflows to predict hardware needs based on hiring profiles and automate inventory replenishment.
- Architect Global Expansion: Design integration layers for third-party suppliers and logistics to scale from 40 to 130 countries.
- Master Complex Integrations: Build resilient systems handling third-party data discrepancies to maintain Rippling as the source of truth.
- Fullstack Product Ownership: Focus on complex backend architecture while building intuitive frontend interfaces for admins.
- Bridge Physical & Digital Security: Ensure shipped devices are provisioned with encryption, antivirus, and compliance software.
About you
- Technical Leadership: Proven Staff/Principal Engineer experience scaling complex systems.
- Fullstack Proficiency: Strong backend expertise (Python/Django preferred), able to work in frontend (React).
- Pragmatic Problem Solving: Experience with unreliable third-party APIs and building fault-tolerant systems.
- A Product Mentality: Proactive feature suggestions improving user experience for hiring managers/IT admins.
- Experience with Logistics/Integrations (Bonus): Warehouse management systems (WMS), supply chain, or heavy API integrations.
- High Agency: Own full project lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
