Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants responsible for Snowflake implementation, optimization, development, and delivery.
- Source and screen candidates and manage the interview process.
- Provide technical expertise across the Snowflake platform.
- Oversee delivery quality and ensure adherence to technical and delivery best practices.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of complex AI and generative AI solutions on Snowflake.
- Partner with Professional Services Practice Directors and Sales Account teams on pursuits, including project scoping, code assessments, service pricing, statements of work, and productionizing AI and generative AI use cases.
- Develop methodologies to improve services delivery and resolve customer-specific technical challenges.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging.
- Present methodologies and capabilities to internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time.
Requirements
- 10+ years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role.
- 5+ years of people management experience, including mentoring, coaching, and team development.
- 5+ years of experience selling professional services, scoping large projects, and writing statements of work.
- Experience guiding enterprise customers on data strategies for building, deploying, and operationalizing generative AI engagements.
- Extensive experience with large-scale database technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, or Greenplum.
- Experience with non-relational platforms and large-scale data-processing tools such as Hadoop and HBase.
- Experience with data integration and transformation tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or Matillion.
- Experience with BI and data exploration tools such as MicroStrategy, Business Objects, or Tableau.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Understanding of the full data analytics stack, from ETL and data-platform design through BI and analytics tools.
- Strong database, data warehouse, and data-processing skills.
- Extensive hands-on SQL and SQL analytics expertise.
- Track record selling data or analytics software to enterprise customers, including stakeholder identification, value propositions, and compelling events.
- Scripting experience with Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $177,000–$232,000.
