Responsibilities
- Own commissions strategy, design, and execution for go-to-market teams.
- Evolve GTM compensation to support Notion’s AI-era selling motion and Enterprise growth.
- Partner with senior GTM leaders, including the Head of Sales and geographic leaders, to translate business priorities into scalable compensation programs.
- Map the current GTM compensation operating model and publish a roadmap for evolving the function.
- Introduce AI-enabled workflows to triage inbound questions, help representatives estimate payouts, flag discrepancies across systems, and automate compensation-calendar reminders.
- Build a planning-cycle framework clarifying design inputs, trade-offs, decision rights, and timelines across GTM, Finance, and Commercial Operations.
- Provide board-level reporting on plan health, payout accuracy, systems quality, and key design decisions.
- Lead transformative operational projects from design through rollout, including cross-functional alignment and change management.
- Build and maintain sustainable quarterly operating cadences, calendars, communication frameworks, and repeatable review processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated judgment balancing Finance discipline with GTM effectiveness, accuracy, and controls.
- Strong financial modeling and data fluency.
- Ability to translate complex compensation-plan mechanics into clear analysis, recommendations, and executive-ready narratives.
- Experience leading cross-functional operational projects through design and implementation.
- Experience with change management and stakeholder alignment.
- Track record of building and maintaining quarterly operating cadences.
- AI-fluent operating style, including using AI to improve decision quality, automate checks, identify data discrepancies, and build self-service workflows.

Compensation
- Estimated base salary range for roles based in San Francisco or New York City: $230,000–$257,000 per year.
- Compensation may also include equity and benefits.
