Market Director

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for third-party-owned, club-owned, and school-owned venues, ranking facilities based on game density, talent density, and revenue potential.
  • Manage the P&L for the facilities market segment, including pricing strategies, sales targets, and revenue forecasts across streaming, ticketing, event payments, and team subscriptions.
  • Shape the offer, pricing, packaging, and value story for each type of facility, creating a repeatable sales motion.
  • Grow relationships with facility owners, operators, leagues, and governing bodies; lead negotiations for exclusive streaming rights, ticketing agreements, and camera installation contracts.
  • Own end-to-end implementation to ensure signed plans are delivered and facilities realize promised value.
  • Mentor and train team members; work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to align on the facilities roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within the sports industry with a strong track record of high performance.
  • Deep knowledge of the facilities market and ability to connect facility coverage to business value across multiple markets.
  • Experience managing internal alignment, guiding teams toward goals, and influencing adoption of new workflows.
  • Strong cross-functional problem-solving skills with ability to build creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including translating complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Hands-on experience negotiating content rights, camera installation agreements, and long-term facility contracts.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sports technology or facilities industry.
  • Established strategic relationships with facility operators, leagues, governing bodies, and anchor club tenants.
