About the role

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Key Account Directors and sales leadership, supporting Auth0-centric go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop frameworks to increase consistency and predictability in strategic deal cycles.
  • Partner with the Office of the FCTO to align AI and platform sales narratives with market trends.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Support AI-driven and enterprise-scale sales initiatives across key industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive pursuit discipline, storytelling, and deal orchestration.
  • Guide account teams on value-based selling strategies linking identity to business impact.

Ecosystem & Thought Leadership

  • Engage with industry and partner ecosystems to promote Okta’s AI-enabled identity leadership.
  • Represent Okta at field events, customer summits, and strategic forums.
  • Foster GTM collaboration to enhance pipeline growth and field readiness.

Innovation and Strategy

  • Enhance competitive differentiation and accelerate growth.
  • Surface field insights to inform GTM strategy and product roadmap.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Required:

  • 8+ years of presales engineering experience in customer identity and AI-related domains; deep expertise in Auth0 and Auth0 FGA / OpenFGA.
  • Proven track record driving strategic sales programs and complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML in GTM and secure AI development; experience with AI tools for POCs.
  • Experience delivering C-level messaging on Auth0 value.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Field CTO, Strategic Advisor, or Sales Strategy experience in high-growth SaaS.
  • Success with AI-enabled sales motions.
  • Knowledge of Okta platform and identity security.
  • Hands-on with Generative AI/LLM (LangChain, GenKit, LlamaIndex).
  • Experience with Fortune 100 or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger).
  • Ability to thrive in matrixed environments.
