Builds and maintains a production GraphQL API modeling complex, nonlinear mortgage processes. Designs event-driven systems, semantic models, and developer-friendly abstractions using TypeScript, NestJS, and Temporal.io.

Responsibilities
- Define semantic models for mortgages in code, expanding what a mortgage can be — product design at the API layer.
- Build toward an event-driven API that responds to requests and proactively informs about events, reasons, and next actions.
- Make complex mortgage processes feel simple through thoughtful abstractions, clear documentation, and focus on developer experience.
- Design for nonlinearity, encoding choice, branching, and path-dependence natively for guided experiences.
- Treat the API as a product surface: manage breaking changes, versioning, onboarding, and full lifecycle.
