About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and ship APIs and services for the editor, dashboard, and customer documentation sites.
  • Improve content ingestion, validation, transformation, and publishing infrastructure for thousands of customer repositories.
  • Build search, retrieval, and agent infrastructure for AI products.
  • Improve caching, queues, databases, and observability for performance and reliability at scale.
  • Shape product direction and engineering approaches across the stack.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering, contribute to product and technical decisions, and take features from development through launch.
  • Talk directly with customers and use their insights to shape products.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with systems design, API architecture, databases, and production systems.
  • Strong product intuition and attention to both product rationale and implementation.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work beyond backend systems when needed to ship features.
  • Comfort with high ownership and defining solutions rather than following a fixed specification.
