About the role

Responsibilities

Upsell & Cross-Sell

  • Own expansion revenue across an assigned book of business, including upsell, cross-sell, and seat growth.
  • Identify expansion signals such as usage patterns, new use cases, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and execute account plans for top targets, mapping stakeholders, timing opportunities, and multi-year value.
  • Run the full commercial cycle for expansion deals, including discovery, proposals, negotiation, and closing.

Account Relationships

  • Build and maintain relationships across accounts, from day-to-day users to economic buyers and executive sponsors.
  • Conduct regular business reviews connecting Confido’s value to customer commercial outcomes.
  • Develop trusted-advisor relationships with key contacts.

Commercial Playbook Building

  • Define and document the upsell and cross-sell motion, including outreach triggers, deal structures, and messaging.
  • Work with Customer Success to establish handoff points and shared signals for expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to understand the roadmap and translate capabilities into expansion narratives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Account Management, Sales, or another quota-carrying commercial role at a B2B SaaS company, with a record of hitting expansion targets.
  • Demonstrable experience owning upsell and cross-sell motions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across multiple organizational levels, from operators to the C-suite.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
  • Data-driven approach using pipeline data, usage analytics, and account health signals to prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Willingness to work onsite at the New York City headquarters five days per week.
