Design, debug, validate, and support production of custom electrical hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles and industrial equipment. The role is intended for a new graduate with an electrical or computer engineering degree and hands-on knowledge of circuit design, electronics, and PCB layout.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
  • Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality.
  • Work with vendors and contract manufacturers on prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp.
  • Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, bills of materials, and test reports.

Requirements

  • BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Graduating by December 2026.
  • Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital and analog electronics, and PCB layout.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers for hardware debugging and validation.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with high-speed digital design, power electronics, or RF/sensor interfaces.
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
  • Exposure to compliance/EMC testing or DFM/DFT processes.
  • Internship or project experience with automotive, robotics, or embedded hardware.
