Responsibilities

  • Lead the Application Security practice and a team of 12 security engineers delivering code audits, vulnerability research, and secure design reviews.
  • Own technical delivery, engagement quality, profitability, client relationships, project staffing, utilization, hiring needs, and the practice P&L.
  • Review audit findings, guide technical direction on complex audits, and contribute hands-on senior security expertise.
  • Develop engineers’ careers and support conference presentations, research publications, and open-source contributions.
  • Set direction for tooling, methodology, and capability development as threats and client needs evolve.
  • Champion AI-assisted auditing, reporting, and research workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of security experience, including significant source-code auditing experience rather than only penetration testing.
  • Recent hands-on security work within the last 12 months, such as code review, vulnerability research, or tool development.
  • Experience leading 8+ engineers through client engagements with direct financial accountability.
  • Proficiency in at least four of Rust, Go, Python, C/C++, Solidity, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience managing project profitability, utilization, and staffing in a consulting environment.
  • Experience developing team members’ careers and external visibility through conferences, publications, or open-source work.
  • Proficiency with AI coding and analysis tools.
  • Active security-community contributions, including research, tools, advisories, or publications.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $250,000–$300,000 annually.
