Software Engineer - New Grad
Build and ship customer-facing software, data pipelines, evaluation infrastructure, and AI applications at scale. Responsibilities
- Build and ship customer-facing software products and features from day one.
- Develop reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines for frontier model development.
- Build evaluation infrastructure for enterprise and public-sector model reliability.
- Develop agentic AI applications and tooling that is observable, testable, and safe to deploy.
- Build contributor growth, fraud detection, quality estimation, and matching systems at scale.
- Create efficient UI/UX tooling combined with machine-learning algorithms for large-scale task completion.
- Develop AI infrastructure products for visualizing, querying, and exploring data.
- Build customer-service retrieval-augmented generation applications.
- Integrate machine-learning models into customer retention systems.
- Talk directly with customers, determine what to build, and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- Graduation in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Previous product or software engineering internship experience.
- Product engineering experience, including building full-stack web applications and integrating APIs and services.
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
- Experience building systems that process large volumes of data.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with large language models, evaluations, or agentic systems through internships, research, or personal projects.
- Open-source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $124,000–$162,000 USD.
- Equity and benefits may be included, such as health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, learning and development stipend, paid time off, and commuter benefits.
