Software Engineering Intern
Software Engineering Interns build and launch AI-enabled software features for healthcare systems during a 10-week summer program. The role requires current pursuit of a Computer Science or related STEM degree, strong CS fundamentals, and exposure to front-end or back-end technologies.

Responsibilities
- Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand the domain and iterate on projects.
- Participate in code reviews and share technical insights.
- Engage in problem-solving sessions with senior engineers and team leads.
- Deliver a capstone project presentation to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Solid computer science fundamentals.
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React, or back-end technologies such as Python and Node.js.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex challenges.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and is motivated by real-world impact.
- Clear communicator who can discuss technical ideas with technical and non-technical audiences and respond well to feedback.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to develop new skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with databases or cloud platforms such as AWS and Docker.
- Exposure to or interest in AI coding agents, including Claude Code.
Compensation
- Weekly pay rate of $2,400, equivalent to $124,800 annualized based on 2,080 hours.
- Eligible for a housing stipend.
