Responsibilities
- Independently manage the day-to-day execution of the deal desk function, guiding high-value and strategic deals through the sales cycle.
- Build trust-based relationships with Sales leadership, Legal, and Finance as a go-to partner for deal structuring and approvals.
- Develop expertise in pricing models, discount frameworks, and approval policies; proactively resolve deal-related issues and sales escalations.
- Create a repeatable framework to evaluate the ROI and strategic fit of deals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline internal workflows and reduce deal cycle time.
- Serve as the operational owner for reviewing, structuring, and approving complex commercial agreements.
- Partner with internal teams to design pricing proposals, discount constructs, and commercial terms aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate deal ROI and provide actionable recommendations to optimize outcomes.
- Ensure deal compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements, and revenue recognition standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk processes, coaching sales team members on best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting or managing a Deal Desk/Business Desk at a complex SaaS organization.
- Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial governance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with GTM, Legal, and Finance teams to facilitate complex deal execution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deals in parallel, especially during high-volume periods such as month-end and quarter-end.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating competing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach and the ability to balance speed with compliance.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting annual base pay for this role is $120,000–$152,000 USD for most US locations and $138,000–$170,000 USD for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, equity awards, comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, flexible time off, 401(k) with company match, disability and life insurance, and other benefits.
