Responsibilities
- Design, code, train, tune, deploy, and analyze ML models at scale for production use cases
- Write and maintain scalable, performant, secure code across platforms
- Contribute to product and core backend systems with improvements
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, processes, and security
- Develop novel ML algorithms for large-scale use
- Conduct metric-driven research to improve model performance
- Mentor junior ML engineers and collaborate cross-functionally
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years building production-scale ML models
- Expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Expert in Python and/or shell scripting for data analysis
- Experience with distributed systems for code and training
- Knowledge in computer vision or NLP
- Strong code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
- Comfortable with ambiguity, tradeoffs, and end-to-end product development
