About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Product Operations partner to a broader product or functional area, helping leaders improve planning, prioritization, execution, and portfolio clarity.
  • Provide input into strategy and prioritized roadmaps for program or operating capability areas, including goals, success measures, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Lead large, cross-functional projects that translate broad goals into iterative phases with measurable outcomes.
  • Define and monitor operational health metrics, identify recurring friction points, and turn them into actionable backlog, roadmap, or process improvement work.
  • Own horizontal Product Operations capabilities across R&D, including process design, governance, standards, workflows, templates, and success measures.
  • Synthesize stakeholder perspectives, user feedback, and operational data to generate actionable insights that inform priorities and decision-making.
  • Design and implement scalable process changes across discovery, planning, execution, launch readiness, and issue management.
  • Build coalitions across Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Analytics, and GTM to drive alignment, adoption, and stronger cross-functional ways of working.
  • Develop practical change-management plans that support clear introduction and durable adoption of new processes and expectations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or a related function supporting software product development organizations.
  • Experience owning a program area or operating capability and leading complex cross-functional initiatives end to end.
  • Strong experience defining processes, governance, and workflows that improve execution across teams.
  • Ability to generate insights from stakeholder feedback, delivery signals, operational metrics, and qualitative research.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to align stakeholders around tradeoffs, direction, and next steps.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and related planning and reporting tools in a scaled environment.
  • Strong judgment, organizational leadership, and ability to operate effectively with incomplete information.
  • Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area; the role requires in-office work 1–2 times per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting portfolio planning, roadmap operations, launch governance, or product development operating-model work.
  • Experience driving cross-team adoption of new processes, operating standards, or tools.
  • Familiarity with customer research, telemetry, survey methods, or workflow analytics.
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment with a matrixed or remote-first operating model.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $162,898–$247,222 USD, based on geographic tier.
  • Employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for equity awards and competitive benefits.
  • Compensation considers experience, skills, interview performance, location, metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
  • The role may require occasional travel for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.
