Data Quality Analyst - Autonomous Vehicles

Analyzes and validates autonomous-vehicle datasets, monitoring annotation quality, coverage, anomalies, and behavioral edge cases. The role requires Python and database-analysis skills, strong attention to detail, a relevant technical degree, and practical driving experience.

Responsibilities

Data Analytics

  • Analyze collected data across different road scenarios and individual samples to understand events and contributing factors.
  • Identify edge cases, behavioral issues, coverage gaps, and scenarios requiring further investigation.
  • Monitor quality metrics, investigate anomalies, and assess dataset balance and completeness across locations, scenarios, and labels.
  • Evaluate whether new scenes improve data quality and coverage.

Operational Routine & Controls

  • Review annotation batches, including repetitive quality checks, to ensure quality and coverage expectations are met.
  • Maintain control dashboards and weekly reports, and follow up on identified issues.
  • Perform operational tasks that keep annotation processes stable and predictable.

Support & Automation

  • Use Python and ClickHouse for analysis, monitoring, and process support.
  • Automate data validation, test-result processing, coverage analysis, and repetitive investigation workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Practical Python skills for data processing and analysis, including Pandas.
  • Ability to query databases and work with analytical data stacks.
  • Willingness to perform routine dataset checks, manual validations, and weekly quality reviews.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow workflows and maintain documentation and reports.
  • Valid driver's license and practical driving experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • No relocation, sponsorship, or remote work options are available.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with ClickHouse.
  • Experience with QA, testing, or validation workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking, attention to quality, and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience with semi-automated labeling tools or active learning methods.
