What you will do
- Develop the worldwide, multi-channel strategy for capturing demand across all of Rippling's products. This will comprise a mix of paid and organic efforts and it’s up to you to balance the mix to drive maximum output.
- Manage 8-figure annual budgets efficiently, hitting or exceeding targets and continuously optimizing channel and campaign allocations to maximize revenue.
- Build an experimentation engine within your team that fuels scale and efficiency gains; optimize via test and learn.
- Establish the structure and processes to operate a centralized worldwide performance marketing team with stakeholders across geographies and product lines.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high caliber team of paid marketers that can consistently meet or exceed their (ambitious) targets. Effectively manage vendors to achieve our goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build and iterate on campaigns. Partner closely with growth stakeholders (including GM’s of each product line) to share learnings, brainstorm, and report out on results.
- Partner with analytics to create a measurement ecosystem that allows us to track leading indicators and KPIs throughout the funnel through revenue retention.
- Although this is a leadership role, pick up IC initiatives to maximize your team’s impact. Roll up your sleeves and do things yourself.
What you will need
- 8-12 years of experience, with at least 6 in performance marketing. Less experience will be considered if you spike in building agentic workflows for performance marketing.
- 5+ years managing a team of > 6 marketers
- End-to-end ownership. Execute flawlessly (directly & via others) and take your projects across the finish line. Own mistakes and learn from them
- Communicate clearly, because you think clearly. Know how to modulate your communications, whether talking to an IC on your team or an executive
- Collaboration; track record of delivering outsized results by partnering with others cross-functionally
- Strong analytical skills to uncover insights that you incorporate into your team’s initiative roadmap
- Deep marketing channel expertise spanning paid social platforms (Meta, Linkedin, Tiktok), Google SEM, Bing Search, ChatGPT ads, Display, Youtube, affiliate marketing, and/or landing page optimization
- Agility and speed. Constantly try new ideas. When things don’t work, pivot; when they do, scale them. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
