Marketing Data Scientist
Build and lead marketing measurement, experimentation, attribution, and analytics for performance, influencer, and lifecycle programs. The role requires 3+ years of data science or analytics experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and the ability to turn insights into marketing spend recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Own weekly marketing measurement reviews for influencer marketing, bringing data, interpretation, and recommendations.
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards for influencer/UGC traffic spikes, CAC, ROAS, payback, channel performance, and campaign results.
- Debug attribution gaps across advertising platforms, the data warehouse, and CRM systems.
- Design and run incrementality, holdout, and A/B tests across email, paid, and influencer marketing programs.
- Partner on survey design and analysis to improve CAC measurement.
- Perform creative, cohort/LTV, channel-efficiency, and campaign post-mortem analyses to guide spend decisions.
- Contribute to attribution architecture, including channel taxonomy, attribution windows, priority logic, promo-code handling, and multi-model attribution.
- Develop creator-level attribution instrumentation using codes, UTMs, and landing pages.
- Translate analyses into clear recommendations for marketing leaders and establish rigorous experimentation and measurement practices.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing science.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with the ability to work end-to-end with data.
- Experience supporting marketing, growth, or lifecycle teams.
- Demonstrated strength in at least one of experimentation/incrementality, attribution, marketing mix modeling, marketing analytics, or growth analytics.
- Strong product and business intuition.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High ownership and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience measuring influencer, creator, or UGC marketing.
- Experience as an early or first data hire supporting a marketing organization.
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Amplitude, Metabase, Stripe, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Bing Ads, Reddit Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Tag Manager, Impact, or Tolt.
- Experience with consumer products, marketplaces, creator platforms, or e-commerce.
- Exposure to AI/ML or generative AI products.
- Familiarity with privacy-era measurement, including Consent Mode, SKAN/ATT, or Privacy Sandbox.
- Interest or experience in attribution architecture, marketing mix modeling, instrumentation, UTM design, and cross-channel spend strategy.
