About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead field initiatives and sales enablement for major events like the Data + AI Summit and World Tour.
  • Deliver premium field experiences, activate Sales colleagues, refine workflows, and strengthen cross-functional alignment to scale programs and business impact.
  • Define clear targeting frameworks (quotas, eligibility, strategic account selection) with sales leadership.
  • Develop and drive adoption of a simple, repeatable event playbook (pre-, during, and post-event) across sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Ensure cohesive and premium attendee and customer experiences from invitation through post-event follow-up.
  • Track event performance through dashboards and reports in partnership with analytics and operations, providing visibility into attendance, engagement, and revenue impact.
  • Manage reliable and timely lead flow from events into sales systems with structured campaigns, lead routing, and MQL definitions.
  • Utilize incentive structures (SPIFFs, recognition programs) to drive field engagement.
  • Integrate cross-functional programs (executive forums, partner summits, product announcements, training, certifications) into a unified field event strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading complex B2B marketing events or event portfolios end-to-end, with ownership for business impact.
  • Proven track record partnering closely with sales and field teams to design event strategies, plays, and enablement that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong program and project management skills to coordinate multiple workstreams, agencies, and stakeholders while maintaining clarity on goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Deep comfort working with CRM, marketing, and analytics tools to define targets, interpret performance, and make data-informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence to influence senior leaders, align cross-functional teams, and represent strategy and results.
  • Metrics-driven, test-and-learn mindset focused on improving attendee experience, field engagement, and event ROI.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically: setting vision and frameworks while ensuring world-class execution.

Compensation

  • Zone 1 Pay Range: $158,000–$217,250 USD
  • Zone 2 Pay Range: $142,200–$195,600 USD
  • Zone 3 Pay Range: $134,300–$184,700 USD
  • Zone 4 Pay Range: $126,400–$173,800 USD
  • Total compensation package may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
