Software Engineer, Machine Learning
Build and ship machine-learning systems for enterprise search and AI assistants, including ranking, personalization, language-model adaptation, and question answering. The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong coding and analytical skills, and production model development experience.

Responsibilities
- Invent new signals to improve the personalization of the search engine.
- Train models to capture interactions between signals in the ranking system.
- Design ways to domain-adapt language models to each customer’s corpus.
- Combine large language models with search engines to answer complex questions.
- Write robust, readable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mentor junior engineers and learn from experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- BA/BS in computer science, math, sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with search, recommendation systems, natural language processing, or other large machine-learning systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data.
- Proven ability to design, build, and ship production-ready models.
- Proficiency in an ML framework.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Java, C++, or similar languages.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused, tight-knit, cross-functional environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to lead, learn, troubleshoot, and take ownership.
