About the role
Responsibilities
Own KPIs and dashboards end-to-end: build, maintain, and govern key KPIs and dashboards across business domains, managing the full lifecycle of analytics projects from scoping to delivery.
Partner with stakeholders to define how success is measured across Garner's products and operations.
Collaborate with the data engineering team to create maintainable pipelines that power reliable reporting.
Build a strong understanding of your analytical domain so you can independently drive meaningful insights.
Identify where coverage is missing and proactively develop new dashboards and insights to fill them.
Advocate for best practices in visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication across teams.
Run deep-dive investigations into complex business problems — the kind of analysis leadership uses to make strategic calls.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-centric role.
Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

A track record of getting stakeholders trustworthy, self-serve access to the information they need.
Hands-on with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud warehouse) and SQL at scale.
Experience with a BI/visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with dbt strongly preferred.
Desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
