The Opportunity

Voice AI stands at the cusp of a paradigm shift. While research scientists pioneer new approaches in Latent Space Models (LSMs), this role provides technical program leadership to turn breakthroughs into shipped products. Drives cross-functional execution across Research, Product, DataOps, and Engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of new model versions and features for STT and TTS offerings, coordinating across Research, Product, DataOps, and Engineering
  • Define lightweight processes for visibility and accountability in researchers' workflows
  • Map dependencies and risks across cross-functional projects
  • Run programs end-to-end: scoping, timelines, communication, risk mitigation, launch readiness
  • Troubleshoot blockers and build partnerships across teams
  • Own proactive communication across organization levels
  • Respond to shifting priorities and translate into actionable plans

It's Important to Us That You Have

  • 5+ years as Technical Program Manager or Engineering Program Manager, ideally in AI/ML Research
  • In-depth knowledge of ML systems (data pipelines, model training, evaluation, serving)
  • Proven track record delivering complex technical programs across teams
  • Ability to map dependencies and communicate status
  • Experience designing lightweight processes in research/engineering
  • Strong analytical skills for program health and prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pragmatic, hands-on orientation

Bonus: Experience with speech/audio projects (data collection, labeling, evaluation)
