Responsibilities
- Lead Crusoe Spark deployment and capacity expansion projects from kickoff through site readiness, infrastructure deployment, validation, commissioning, and operational handoff.
- Build and maintain integrated schedules spanning design, construction, procurement, logistics, network readiness, hardware deployment, commissioning, validation, and customer readiness.
- Coordinate engineering, construction, facilities, site operations, procurement, logistics, vendors, cloud infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
- Manage dependencies, critical paths, milestones, handoffs, risks, blockers, resource constraints, hardware lead times, and technical issues.
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and readiness of GPUs, servers, networking, storage, cabling, power infrastructure, optics, licenses, and ancillary equipment.
- Sequence deployments across data halls and production environments while minimizing operational risk.
- Manage external vendors and partners, including scope, schedules, deliverables, site access, and completion criteria.
- Provide project updates covering progress, milestones, risks, decisions, dependencies, and required actions.
- Improve repeatable project-management processes, schedules, documentation, reporting, and deployment playbooks.
- Drive accountability, decisions, ownership, and measurable next steps across teams without direct reporting relationships.
- Travel to Crusoe Spark and data center locations as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical project or program management experience supporting data centers, cloud infrastructure, construction, hardware deployments, capacity expansion, or large-scale technical infrastructure programs.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution and operational handoff.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, structured cabling, servers, storage, GPU infrastructure, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure expansions within existing environments, including space, power, network, and supporting infrastructure evaluation.
- Experience managing integrated project schedules, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and delivery forecasts.
- Ability to identify risks, assess downstream impacts, develop mitigation strategies, and drive issues to resolution.
- Experience coordinating contractors, equipment suppliers, integrators, and external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into concise status updates, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail while managing multiple deployments, expansions, workstreams, and priorities.
- Ability to establish structure, drive decisions, and maintain momentum in rapidly changing environments.
- Ability to travel to project and data center locations as needed.
