Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and related policies.
- Prepare and submit government proposals in accordance with all requirements.
- Manage financial, technical, and performance reporting for government contracts and research grants.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budget forecasting, contract execution, and research fund tracking.
- Oversee compliance with government accounting systems and DCAA requirements.
- Manage research funding and grant administration requirements.
- Track research expenditures and ensure proper allocation of grant funds.
- Coordinate with internal teams on government contract and grant guidelines and deliverables.
- Maintain records and documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and grant reporting.
- Support contract modifications, grant renewals, and amendments.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams on contract and grant execution.
- Support government contract negotiations by completing required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in government contracting, compliance, research administration, or financial administration.
- Experience with government proposal preparation, grant compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with government accounting standards, financial management, and research fund tracking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Must satisfy United States export-control eligibility requirements and maintain work authorization throughout employment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with DCAA-compliant accounting systems.
- Knowledge of SBIR/STTR grant compliance and reporting.
- Understanding of government contract cost structures, pricing, and grant funding mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other government contracting regulations.
- Experience in a startup or technology-driven environment.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $90,000–$120,000.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, 401(k) with employer match, offsite events, and a discretionary productivity fund.
