Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own parking functionalities such as Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP).
- Develop and integrate planning and control components for low-speed parking scenarios.
- Use simulation and data tooling to track and improve KPIs across virtual tests and real-world data.
- Test functions hands-on in test vehicles on test tracks and public roads.
- Collaborate with simulation and data tooling experts to accelerate function development.
- Share common components, tooling, and data processes with active safety and L2++ teams.
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Contribute to software-defined vehicle solutions in Europe.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience for driver assistance or automated driving systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions, such as APA, remote parking, or path planning in confined spaces.
- Experience shipping ADAS/AD software into series-production vehicles.
- Experience with requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality.
- Self-starter mentality and ability to learn new technical concepts and tools quickly.
- Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Series-project experience with APA, AVP, or Remote Parking.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards for automated parking, including UN R79 and ISO 22737.
- Hands-on experience with prototype vehicles.
- Experience with simulation tools for scenario-based testing.
- Experience in a high-paced startup or technology environment.
