Product Manager, Cyber Security
Leads Anthropic’s cybersecurity product strategy, product delivery, partnerships, and external security presence. The role requires deep security experience, product-building expertise, strong technical judgment, and the ability to work across research, engineering, policy, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities
- Set Anthropic’s cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for results.
- Ship security products, including vulnerability discovery and remediation capabilities in Claude Code and future products.
- Represent Anthropic externally with CISOs, security vendors, researchers, governments, and press.
- Partner with research to identify model limitations on security tasks and improve capabilities.
- Collaborate with safeguards and policy on model access for cybersecurity.
- Coordinate work across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and communications.
Requirements
- Meaningful experience in security, such as building security products, running a security team, application security, detection and response, vulnerability research, or offensive security.
- Experience building products or businesses from scratch and taking them to paying customers.
- Strong product judgment and sufficient technical depth to evaluate security findings.
- Strong communication skills with CISOs, researchers, and executives.
Nice-to-haves
- 12+ years of experience building and shipping products, especially security products.
- Fluency with AI products, including evaluations and model behavior as part of the product surface.
- Technical background or experience working closely with infrastructure or platform teams.
- Strong technical judgment in security and infrastructure.
- Ability to break down complex compliance requirements into shippable features.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary: $385,000–$460,000 USD.
