Responsibilities
- Lead feature delivery from ideation through release, ensuring business requirements are met.
- Architect and develop high-complexity features and solve challenging technical problems hands-on.
- Establish and promote engineering best practices for quality, performance, and scalability.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve platform functionality.
- Mentor software engineers and foster collaborative learning.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach and ensure features improve user experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience delivering highly scalable, distributed SaaS products with multi-tenancy.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful services.
- Expertise in TypeScript and Python.
- Strong skills in React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Docker.
- Experience with real-time data or event systems.
- Experience designing relational schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational data stores.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
- Self-motivated, independent, collaborative, adaptable, and able to learn new technologies.
- Willingness to lead and mentor software engineers.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent training experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI-powered feature development, AI/LLM integration, cross-service integration, Microsoft Office Add-in development, or clinical trials and regulated healthcare.
- Experience with UV, Vite, Redis Cache, Postgres, Express, Inversify, or Agno.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $168,000-$198,000.
