Responsibilities
Analytics Delivery & Team Prioritization
- Lead analytical execution across assigned Shoppability products and business areas, ensuring timely, rigorous, and actionable insights.
- Translate business priorities into an analytical roadmap and prioritize requests based on importance, urgency, complexity, and capacity.
- Translate product and commercial questions into structured analyses, measurement plans, and clear deliverables.
- Ensure findings connect to customer and business outcomes.
- Surface analytical risks, dependencies, and opportunities to senior leadership and business partners.
- Provide recommendations for product and commercial decisions.
Business Performance Insights
- Analyze revenue, expense, margin, customer growth, activation, engagement, retention, and unit economics.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders on operating metrics, forecasts, recurring business reviews, and performance narratives.
- Identify customer and business drivers behind financial and operating performance changes.
- Analyze trade-offs among customer growth, incentive investment, engagement, retention, and profitability.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities, partnerships, product launches, and investments.
Product and Customer Analytics
- Analyze customer journeys across discovery, eligibility, onboarding, conversion, activation, repeat use, retention, and cross-product engagement.
- Define success metrics, diagnose funnel performance, identify customer friction, and measure roadmap initiatives.
- Guide customer segmentation and behavioral analyses.
- Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, customer experience, personalization, and movement across experiences.
- Connect product engagement metrics to customer and commercial outcomes.
Experimentation and Measurement
- Apply experimentation and measurement practices across Shoppability initiatives.
- Partner on hypothesis development, test design, power analysis, metric selection, execution, and interpretation.
- Review experiment designs and analytical plans.
- Support measurement when randomized testing is impractical.
- Translate experiment results into recommendations to continue, modify, scale, or discontinue initiatives.
Data, Reporting, and Analytical Infrastructure
- Oversee KPI dashboards, monitoring tools, recurring reporting, and analytical datasets.
- Partner with Analytics Engineering and Engineering to resolve data quality, event tracking, business logic, and measurement issues.
- Establish documentation and quality expectations for analytical work.
- Identify data and tracking gaps and partner on technical requirements and prioritization.
- Reduce manual reporting and create reusable analytical approaches.
- Promote strong use of SQL, visualization tools, experimentation methods, and statistical techniques.
Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Influence
- Manage, coach, and develop analysts.
- Partner with General Managers, Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering.
- Lead hands-on analytical work while ensuring quality, prioritization, and delivery across assigned areas.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience leading analytics across product, customer, and business performance domains.
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing analysts.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with KPI dashboards, visualization tools, experimentation, power analysis, and statistical techniques.
- Ability to translate complex product and commercial questions into analytical plans and actionable recommendations.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and business leadership.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and analytical quality-management skills.
