Responsibilities
- Build and lead Pinterest’s Programmatic Tech Operations function, including scalable processes, team structure, and best practices.
- Oversee execution and optimization of programmatic campaigns, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the technical expert for DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics, deal types, and integrations.
- Partner with Sales, Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Marketing on workflows and measurement strategies.
- Analyze business data using Excel and BI dashboards to identify process and performance improvements.
- Advance Pinterest’s advertising infrastructure and global programmatic operations.
- Build and develop high-performing teams, plan organizational growth, drive change, and foster accountability.
- Manage vendor partnerships and monitor emerging AdTech trends.
- Lead internal training and executive presentations on platform updates and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital media, AdTech, or related industries.
- 5+ years leading high-performing or large-scale technical operations teams.
- Expertise in programmatic advertising, including DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics, deal types, and operational management.
- Strong technical knowledge of ad servers, tag management, data integrations, and measurement or attribution tools.
- Experience with Google Ad Manager, DV360, or The Trade Desk.
- Advanced data literacy, including analysis of large datasets with Excel, BI, or Tableau platforms.
- Experience developing scalable processes, operational documentation, and cross-functional workflows in complex organizations.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to drive operational and strategic impact in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
- Working knowledge of AI and machine-learning applications in programmatic operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as digital media or sales, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with API integrations and custom platform connections.
- Knowledge of predictive bidding, anomaly detection, and AI-driven campaign optimization tools.
Compensation
- Base salary: $183,745–$321,554 USD.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
