Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business tax returns and meet with clients over video calls.
- Use internal tax software, standardized workflows, and AI-enabled review tools while adapting to updates and evolving processes.
- Own the end-to-end client experience, including document collection, client communication, and building client trust.
- Meet or exceed goals for customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Resolve complex filing situations using professional judgment and available tools and team support.
- Share feedback with leadership and product teams to improve products, processes, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Active EA or CPA credential and a valid PTIN.
- 5+ years of paid individual tax preparation experience, including at least 30 returns in each of the last two tax seasons.
- Extensive experience with moderate- to high-complexity returns, including multi-state, self-employment, rental, and investment income.
- Proficiency with professional tax software and the ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
- Experience working virtually with tax clients using client portals, e-signature platforms, secure document sharing, and online meeting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- Self-starter mindset and comfort with change and learning by doing.
Compensation
- ATS-listed salary: $83,200–$93,600.
- Full-time, US-based seasonal position running from January/February through April 30, 2027.
