Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, efficient, and well-tested code while following coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the design of scalable, robust, and maintainable software systems.
- Understand architectural patterns and align new changes with agreed patterns.
- Work across the software development lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on backend and database components.
- Participate in thorough code reviews to ensure quality, identify potential issues, and share knowledge.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to keep applications fast and efficient.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with object-oriented languages such as Java.
- Solid experience with relational and non-relational datastores.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems.
- Experience with a public cloud; AWS is highly preferred.
