Software Engineer - Mission Control
Build highly configurable frontend UIs and platforms for defense C2 (Command & Control) systems, enabling mission planning, monitoring, 2D/3D visualization, and interaction with autonomous agents in simulation and live environments. Requires full-stack web development experience and US citizenship.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, including 2D/3D graphics & visualizations of live agents in the world.
- Work closely with the Design team to understand user workflows, developing a vision for the Defense Tooling UI/UX.
- Work with other teams to integrate your frontend implementation with a state-of-the-art in-house simulator, data-transmission pipeline, autonomous systems, and other defense applications.
- Build a highly configurable, stable, and intuitive frontend platform for Mission Control / C2 (Command and Control).
- Develop Frontend UI/UX (including 2D/3D rendering and selection tools) for Defense applications including mission planning/debrief, command and control, and simulation tools.
- Employ data-oriented design to support user interaction with live and simulated data.
- Maintain principled architecture with clear roles and responsibilities, including strong test fixtures.
Requirements
- Experience with full-stack web development.
- Interest in spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering problems.
- A strong vision and good taste for intuitive user interfaces.
- A hunger to learn and grow into a position of ownership and impact on a new product team.
- U.S. citizenship (legally required) and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
Nice-to-Haves
- Aptitude with spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering (WebGL, Cesium, GIS, etc).
- Experience with React, Typescript or Angular technologies.
- Experience with real-time command and control interfaces for robotic systems.
