AI Agent Product Manager
Owns customer-facing delivery and roadmaps for AI agent deployments, translating healthcare requirements into production conversational workflows. The role combines technical product management, hands-on prompt and agent building, cross-functional coordination, and iterative quality evaluation.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own customer deployments end-to-end, from requirements gathering and scoping through production go-live.
- Treat each deployment as a product launch: define scope, manage tradeoffs, timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
- Own the customer-facing roadmap for each deployment, including sequencing and prioritization.
- Build and configure AI agents hands-on using prompts, tools, guardrails, multi-agent workflows, and evaluation practices.
- Translate customer requirements into agent behavior, conversation flows, decision logic, edge-case handling, and integration behavior.
- Ship production-ready agents for healthcare workflows involving scheduling, patient context, EMR data, and practice-specific requirements.
- Improve agent performance through structured evaluations, live call reviews, testing, and customer feedback.
- Lead zero-to-one deployments for new workflows, integrations, and verticals; identify unknowns and make tradeoff decisions.
- Define and prioritize requirements for new platform capabilities with engineering.
- Coordinate with Conversational Design and Customer Engineering on agent behavior and integrations with EHR, PMS, and PIMS systems.
- Codify recurring patterns into playbooks and transition proven workflows to implementation teams.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in product management or a closely related role, or a technical background operated in a product-management capacity.
- Strong technical product background with comfort working with APIs, integrations, and interconnected systems.
- Experience shipping in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without an established playbook.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally through influence rather than authority.
- Strong ownership and bias toward action.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-native products, AI agents, large language models, or automation platforms.
- Hands-on prompt engineering or agent building experience.
- Healthcare, revenue cycle, or other legacy-system-heavy industry experience.
- Founder, co-founder, or early-stage startup experience.
- Familiarity with voice AI or real-time orchestration systems.
- Portfolio or examples of shipped conversational experiences, such as IVR, voice assistants, chatbots, or SMS flows.
- Familiarity with evaluation practices for agent quality.
Compensation
- Base salary: $110K–$160K.
- Meaningful equity ownership.
