Systems Manager - Financial Systems Functional Analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a team of Functional Analysts and quality specialists.
• Own the delivery lifecycle for finance-domain initiatives, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, stakeholder sign-off, and operational handover.
• Set standards for Functional Analysis, including requirements documentation, solution design, vendor engagement, stakeholder management, and operational readiness.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams across hybrid SaaS and custom-built ERP environments.
• Drive initiatives supporting Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Tax, Treasury, and related global finance processes.
• Shape solution architecture decisions for complex financial systems initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, including roadmap discussions, escalations, contract reviews, and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement, including automation and Generative AI opportunities.
• Define and track team KPIs, delivery metrics, and operational performance indicators.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex finance systems issues and stakeholder or vendor concerns.
• Support SOX and ITGC compliance, audit readiness, and change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial systems delivery, functional analysis, or enterprise applications within large-scale ERP environments.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, developing, and retaining analysts.
• Experience leading finance systems initiatives end-to-end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational adoption.
• Deep functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Tax, and Treasury processes.
• Experience partnering with senior Finance, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A stakeholders in global organizations.
• Experience managing SaaS vendor relationships, roadmap planning, escalations, and contract discussions.
• Understanding of SOX frameworks and IT General Controls for ERP and SaaS change management and audit readiness.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, curiosity, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Jira for delivery tracking and prioritization.
• Experience with or interest in Generative AI capabilities for delivery effectiveness and operational scale.
• Experience supporting both project delivery and operational systems administration within one team.
• An accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is an asset.
