Responsibilities

Salesforce Development

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Develop Salesforce Flows and automation using best-practice patterns, including bulkification and governor-limit awareness.
  • Implement and refine configurations across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including objects, fields, layouts, permissions, and validation rules.
  • Support CPQ, integrations, and other platform extensions as needed.

System Architecture, Configuration, and Automation

  • Assist in designing scalable data models and process automation structures.
  • Contribute to declarative and programmatic solutions that improve go-to-market efficiencies.
  • Maintain integration points between Salesforce and GTM systems, including HubSpot, databases, APIs, and Workato; escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews, version control, and CI/CD deployment processes.

Collaboration

  • Work with developers, administrators, analysts, and business operations stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement iterative improvements.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions with appropriate documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to administrators and analysts for code-driven functionality.

Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement

  • Diagnose and resolve Salesforce defects, automation failures, and integration-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and automation reliability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce technical debt, and improve maintainability.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and recommend valuable enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud core functionality.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and debugging data synchronization issues; Workato, APIs, HubSpot, or similar platforms are a plus.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits.
  • Working knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Required certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or System Architect certification.
  • Experience with Apex REST integrations or API-based data exchange.
  • Familiarity with advanced Lightning Web Components development.
  • Experience in RevOps, sales, marketing, or post-sales operational environments.
  • Background supporting SaaS or private-equity-owned companies.
  • Comfort with Python or JavaScript for supplemental scripting.
