Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
Own manufacturing engineering for mechanical, electrical, and controls module assembly. Build and launch assembly processes, balance lines to takt, drive ramp improvements in hours per unit and first-pass yield.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing engineering for integration and assembly: mechanical, electrical, and controls fit-out of modules at takt.
- Build the assembly process: station design, sequence, torque and test standards, and line balance.
- Launch new module configurations without breaking the line: change management from ECO to floor.
- Attack the ramp curve: hours per unit down and first-pass yield up, week over week.
Requirements
- Engineered assembly operations for large, complex products: modules, vehicles, equipment, or skids.
- Balanced lines and designed stations that hit takt.
- Launched products through ECO storms and kept the floor building.
- Standardize work: work instructions and torque specs are the single source of truth.
- Live on the line during launch.
Nice-to-Haves
- Low-volume, high-mix assembly.
- Electrical and controls assembly processes.
- MES systems.
- Lean production depth.
