About the role
Responsibilities
Own manufacturing engineering for integration and assembly: mechanical, electrical, and controls fit-out of modules at takt.
Build the assembly process: station design, sequence, torque and test standards, and line balance.
Launch new module configurations without breaking the line: change management from ECO to floor.
Attack the ramp curve: hours per unit down and first-pass yield up, week over week.
Requirements
Engineered assembly operations for large, complex products: modules, vehicles, equipment, or skids.
Balanced lines and designed stations that hit takt.
Launched products through ECO storms and kept the floor building.
Standardize work: work instructions and torque specs are the single source of truth.
Live on the line during launch.
Nice-to-Haves
Low-volume, high-mix assembly.
Electrical and controls assembly processes.
MES systems.
Lean production depth.
