Supports regional People Operations across APAC by managing employee transactions, Workday data and reporting, payroll documentation, compliance, and process improvements. Requires 5+ years of HR operations experience, Workday expertise, and English and Vietnamese communication skills.

Responsibilities
Employee Transactions and Support
- Handle Tier 2 employee transactions and complex People Operations tasks.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for employee escalations.
Data and Reporting
- Manage and maintain employee data in Workday, including data loads and audits.
- Generate, analyze, and improve Workday reports.
Payroll and Documentation
- Assist with payroll preparation, including regular payroll, termination payments, leave of absence, time off, and short-term sick leave.
- Draft employment contracts, job-change addenda, and contract-renewal reminders.
- Coordinate execution of employee document signing.
Policy and Process Improvement
- Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate HR processes.
- Communicate data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Support
- Collaborate with regional and global People Teams on projects and initiatives.
- Advise internal stakeholders in compensation, immigration, compliance, payroll, IT, recruiting, and benefits on People Operations matters.
- Support management of external vendors and service providers.
- Execute tasks and projects as directed by People Operations leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR/People Operations Associate or HR Generalist, ideally in a startup or rapid-growth company.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience processing a broad range of HR transactions.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices across Southeast Asia.
- Required experience with Workday HRIS.
- Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements, particularly across Southeast Asia.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills when managing concurrent tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong drafting and policy-creation skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications.
- Open-mindedness and adaptability in changing environments.
