Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship features across the full stack at high speed.
• Build end-to-end workflows, take them to production, and solve real-world problems at scale.
• Raise the bar for code quality and decision-making as an early technical steward.
• Set patterns that establish a world-class engineering culture.
• Build tools, mental models, and platforms to accelerate both personal and company growth exponentially.
• Constantly talk to and visit customers in the field.

Requirements

• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar.
• Strong engineering prowess, ideally developed at start-ups.
• Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporate feedback, and hold a high bar for quality.
• Excitement about building an AI product for an industry untouched by modern software.
• Willingness to work ~60 hrs/week in person with ambitious people in NYC.
• Commitment to attempting to build a generational company with the required intensity.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation

• Estimated salary range: $285,000 - $325,000/year.
• May include Incentive Stock Options, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives.
• Total compensation may also factor in benefits and long-term incentives.
