Build and maintain integrations connecting Cribl’s stream processing engine with major data and cloud platforms. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, Node.js and TypeScript expertise, API and distributed-systems experience, and participation in on-call support.

Responsibilities
- Develop features integrating Cribl’s data stream processing engine with systems such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Research, provision, build, and configure third-party technologies and accounts to support integration development.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software.
- Build expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with occasional work in C++ and Node.js internals.
- Create test plans, automated tests, and integration tests.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to translate specifications into code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide design feedback.
- Participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation and perform standby or off-hours duties.
- Contribute to internal and external communities, documentation, and product-related blogs.
Requirements
- Experience integrating third-party applications, libraries, and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience using and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Strong ownership and focus on high-quality, high-performing deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex technical topics to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Comfort researching and discovering solutions before coding.
- Ability to build robust systems amid uncertainty.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and products.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, or SAML.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $160,000–$220,000 USD.
