Responsibilities

  • Source and secure materials, equipment, and services for data center sites, power generation projects, innovation projects, and corporate teams.
  • Obtain and analyze product, pricing, vendor-term, and historical data to support contract negotiations and supplier recommendations.
  • Manage formal, informal, and vendor-screening source selections.
  • Conduct multiple RFI, RFQ, and RFP events; prepare bid summaries and award recommendation presentations.
  • Identify, pre-qualify, and promote suppliers, and manage contracted suppliers against quarterly performance KPIs.
  • Negotiate and execute Service Orders, Master Service Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, Consulting Agreements, EPC contracts, and related agreements.
  • Award and modify contracts, administer subcontracts, and prepare and present bid and proposal terms and conditions.
  • Independently draft and redline commercial contracts, including counter-language and negotiated terms.
  • Administer contracts and maintain related documentation.
  • Build supplier relationships and collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal teams, and external suppliers.
  • Communicate project status and potential challenges to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of direct procurement experience, such as buying, capital project procurement, or category management.
  • Experience purchasing equipment for large-scale data center or power generation capital projects.
  • Hands-on experience independently redlining and drafting commercial contract counter-language.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with procurement software such as Coupa.
  • CPM, CPSM, CPSD, MCIPS, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CTSC certification.
  • Oil and gas field operations experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation of $45–$55 per hour, equivalent to $93,600–$114,400 annually.
