About the role

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and post-event reporting for Motive's annual user conference, Vision, including attendee experience, executive programming, content flow, sponsorship experience, and onsite operations.
  • Serve as stakeholder for internal events such as company kickoffs, leadership offsites, executive summits, and key internal moments, partnering closely with the Corporate Marketing and Field & Events team on planning and execution to ensure alignment to leadership objectives and company priorities.
  • Lead and manage external agencies across production, creative, logistics, registration technology, and onsite execution, ensuring they operate as true extensions of the Motive team.
  • Partner closely with Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Campaigns, Brand, Comms, Sales, Finance, Legal, and People teams to ensure events are tightly aligned to GTM strategy, messaging, and revenue goals.
  • Act as a trusted partner to executive leadership by owning executive prep, briefing, and onsite support, anticipating needs and ensuring leaders are set up for success.
  • Continuously improve event operations and attendee experience through tooling, process improvements, and data-driven decision making.
  • Own post-event reporting and insights, including pipeline influence, engagement metrics, and qualitative feedback, and use learnings to shape future strategy.
  • Drive effective budget management across multiple concurrent events, maintaining complex, multi-line-item budgets in real time and partnering directly with Finance and Procurement on forecasting, PO management, invoice reconciliation, and vendor contracts to ensure accuracy and fiscal accountability at every stage.
  • Support global expansion of Motive's event strategy by planning and executing events across regions and time zones, partnering with global and regional teams to ensure programming is locally relevant while staying aligned to global brand and GTM standards.
  • Drive operational excellence across timelines, contracts, run of show documents, risk management, and vendor coordination for large scale, multi-day events.

What We're Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of experience owning large scale user conferences, internal events, or complex live experiences catered to executive audiences in high growth environments.
  • Proven track record of serving as the single owner for highly visible, high budget programs with executive level exposure.
  • Deep experience managing agencies and external vendors, including setting direction, holding partners accountable, and driving cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor who gets into the details and executes the work directly, while also directing agency partners and leading cross-functionally through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Strong operational discipline across program management, budgeting, contracts, and cross functional execution.
  • Comfort working directly with executive stakeholders and navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight timelines.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or similarly complex GTM organizations strongly preferred.
