People Business Partner

This foundational HR Business Partner role advises executives and managers on organizational design, performance, employee relations, succession planning, and change management. The role requires 5+ years of technology HRBP experience and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary people partner to a defined set of executives and their organizations.
  • Advise leaders on organizational design and headcount planning, including structure, span of control, role clarity, and leveling.
  • Own performance management end to end, from cycle facilitation through calibration.
  • Coach leaders to identify and address underperformance with appropriate documentation and process.
  • Coach managers through onboarding, escalations, and ongoing development.
  • Own employee relations, including intake, investigation, and resolution.
  • Partner with leaders on succession planning and identification of high-potential talent.
  • Support reorganizations, leadership transitions, and structural changes through change management.
  • Run feedback cycles, engagement pulse checks, and stay interviews, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Define how the HRBP function operates and help build scalable manager enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a technology company.
  • Experience owning a client group end to end.
  • Proven experience coaching managers through performance management, documentation, and formal plans.
  • Experience advising senior or executive leaders on organizational decisions.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience running performance calibration and helping leaders maintain consistent standards.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where process supports the work.
