Senior Product Engineer

Build and scale customer-facing SaaS products across backend and frontend systems, partnering with multidisciplinary product teams. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong programming skills, and experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture as products scale to serve tens of millions of people daily.
Write Ruby code integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies for the backend infrastructure.
Ship production changes from the first day and deliver features quickly through frequent automated deployments.
Build with AI-powered developer tools to reduce friction and focus on solving meaningful problems.
Mentor engineers and interview candidates.
Work on product areas including messenger composition, rule matching, deliverability, security, application availability, and machine learning.

Requirements

5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably building SaaS products.
Demonstrated significant impact on products or teams.
Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
Proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
Experience with distributed systems.
