Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, resilient workflow automation for onboarding/offboarding, access requests, compliance enforcement, and self-service IT support.
- Build robust integrations between disparate systems using APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Automate identity and access management, including role assignment, least-privilege policy enforcement, and audit-friendly authentication and authorization logging.
- Architect and engineer secure enterprise data platforms for collection, normalization, storage, reporting, audits, and analytics.
- Establish engineering practices, lead code reviews, document architectures, and mentor engineers.
- Own deployment and lifecycle management of business-critical systems and custom applications, including architecture, vendor evaluation, implementation, integration, and ongoing support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT engineering, IT applications development, or DevOps, including at least 5 years focused on large-scale enterprise automation.
- Hands-on experience automating complex operations and governance across GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Experience modularizing infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Python.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and relational databases, with strong SQL skills preferred.
- Extensive experience designing and managing centralized automation platforms such as n8n, SOAR, Ansible, Workato, or custom frameworks.
- Experience in regulated industries and exposure to SOC 2, HIPAA, or equivalent compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience applying agentic AI or machine learning models to IT automation, including proactive issue detection, intelligent routing, or natural language processing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual compensation of $200,000–$240,000, plus equity grants.
