Travel Support Specialist

Supports customers with travel-product issues across phone, chat, email, and video channels, while documenting product knowledge and partnering with Product and Engineering on improvements. Requires 3+ years in a travel-related customer-facing role; GDS and TMC/BT consulting experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Rippling customers and resolve issues related to Travel products.
  • Take ownership of customer issues from start to finish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Use phone, chat, email, and video conferencing to help customers optimize Rippling’s Travel product.
  • De-escalate and resolve issues using platform and travel-industry expertise.
  • Document product functionality and country-specific nuances, and train Global Support team members.
  • Become a product expert and serve as a resource for customers and coworkers.
  • Identify improvements and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on automation and feature enhancements.
  • Work effectively under time constraints, meet schedules, and handle unexpected deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in a travel-related customer- or client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills and experience improving processes.
  • Flexibility with changing duties and responsibilities.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in a TMC/BT consultant role covering air, rail, and hotel supplier products.
  • 2+ years of intermediate-level GDS experience with Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
  • IATA accreditation, including WWAFT, WAII, or BA2.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Base pay: $22.19–$23.49 per hour.
