Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for Snowpark Container Services, understanding customer requirements and meeting business goals.
- Lead and mentor engineers while setting technical direction and strategy for critical product areas.
- Manage project delivery across design, coding, reviews, testing, observability, tooling, and on-call support.
- Build reliable, fault-tolerant software for large-scale customers.
- Ensure operational readiness and maintainability, with emphasis on reliability, availability, debuggability, and performance.
- Design and build Kubernetes-based, OCI-compliant container compute platform features that scale with evolving customer and business needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience building large-scale systems or infrastructure platforms.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience building distributed systems.
- Hands-on coding experience in Java, C++, or Go.
- Ability to work onsite in the downtown Bellevue office.
- Strong collaboration, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building products or services with Kubernetes.
- Experience designing products and features with multi-cloud support across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing multi-tenant systems with focus on performance, isolation, and security.
